A gift for the city. Beautiful to look at and powerful because of its statement.
PRIDE is still a protest. Queer people still need to fight to be seen and to be accepted. And we all need to keep fighting to make this world a safe(r) place. A safe home for all.
The Q-Park building was the perfect building for this big PRIDE installation. Every floor of the parking garage was wrapped in bold coloured textile. When standing in front of the building, the big Pride Progress flag could be seen in its original form. For the left and right side of the building we created custom artwork, using again all the colours from the Progress flag and logo’s of Pride Amsterdam, Gemeente Amsterdam and Waterkant.
This PRIDE installation was installed during PRIDE Week Amsterdam 2022 at the Q-Park building at the Marnixstraat in Amsterdam.
